I was very influenced growing up by the movies of the 70's and 80's such as Jaws, Star Wars, Goonies, Ghostbusters, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation etc.
Great reads also played a role in my ambitions to write such as Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man And The Sea, Peter Benchley's Jaws, Joseph Campbells The Hero Of A Thousand Faces and many others.
I would consider myself more of a story teller than a writer. I believe you must have a great story to tell from beginning to the very end. When writing I try for my novels to have a constant flowing pace for the reader to keep engaged. Writing is an adventure for every chapter I create, a world that one can build with endless possibilities. My biggest thrills to write about are subjects that can't be dispelled either way by the scientific community and that have collaboration of peoples testimonies such as UFO's, sharks habituating in fresh water systems and ghosts. It's these type of stories I believe that can affect the reader. Next time the swimmer sets his feet into lake Michigan he or she might just take that split second to look out to the unknown. The reader might lock his or her doors at night and then look up out there window just to make sure no triangular lights silently lurk in dark clouds overhead. It's these type of stories that I do most enjoy. Thank you for stopping by and I hope this site gives you a little insight on my writings.
